ode Red is excited to announce that we will be holding our NRG Robotics Summer Camp this year! It will be held at Byron Center High School in Code Red’s robotics space. Camp will take place June 2-5 and 7th. Monday-Thursday, June 2-5 will be evening sessions, 6:30-8:30 pm. Saturday, June 7th will be a tournament, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Our NRG program offers an opportunity for students along with a parent or family member to assemble a robot and modify that robot to play a game designed specifically for our NRG program. At the end of the week, students keep their robots. Returning students then will learn some basic programming of their robots while first year students assemble and modify their robots.
Each session will consist of problem solving activities, STEM-based activities, robot work, robot drive practice, and practice matches.
