One of the schools we closely partner with is Byron Center Public Schools, and every summer, the community celebrates Byron Days. Byron Days includes a parade and two days of concerts, bounce houses, and displays set up in the local park. Code Red sets up a display in the park which is the central hub of the Festival. We have a large visual display that shows people what FIRST and Code Red are all about. In addition, we have several of our NRG, FTC, and FRC robots on display. We have our most recent FRC running for visitors to see and “play catch” with. On the second day of the festival, Code Red participates in the parade with a float that features our robots and our teams.
